AURORA LUMINA

Aurora Lumina perform enthralling and unique brews of New Music inspired by improvisation, jazz, Middle Eastern and Western Classical music. Aurora Lumina is a quartet, formed in early 2018 by four long standing musical friends.

Aurora Lumina derive their name from Latin for ‘first light’, or light of dawn, which renders the spirit that the ensemble members capture each time they meet in performance. The ensemble’s aim is for a genuinely new music which combines the originality of new, long form composition with the fresh spark of creative improvisation.
